The Kristu Jayanti School of Management begins each academic year with a comprehensive 45-day Student Induction Programme (SIP), designed to prepare students for the rigorous two-year corporate training provided through the MBA programme of the School. The SIP includes a variety of orientations and awareness sessions aimed at fostering the holistic development of students, focusing on values, attitudes, skills, and knowledge.
The programme also features four Value Added Courses (VAC) and Pre-Requisite Courses (PRC) to enhance students' knowledge base. Additionally, it offers skill development sessions in life skills, leadership, and managerial abilities. Students are actively engaged through activities such as a minor project, book review, business plan competition, case study competition, and article review.
Experiential learning is provided through industrial visits and interactions with corporate leaders. Student performance across all activities is evaluated using a unique rating system, the CPE Matrix, which assesses 19 different skills. Based on their scores, top performers are recognized with the "Star of the Month" awards. Following the conclusion of SIP, regular MBA classes for the first trimester commence each academic year.
