The Icebreaker Session was conducted as part of the ASCEND 2026 Orientation Programme for first-year MBA students. The session was facilitated by Mr. Sen B. Mathews, Director, Centre for Employability and Corporate Relations (CECR) on 04.08.2026. It aimed to create a friendly, interactive, and welcoming environment for the newly admitted students. A variety of engaging icebreaker activities encouraged students to introduce themselves and interact with their peers. Team-based activities promoted communication, collaboration, and mutual understanding among the participants. The session helped students overcome initial hesitation and build confidence in interacting with their classmates. Students actively participated in discussions, games, and collaborative exercises throughout the programme. The resource person emphasized the importance of networking, teamwork, and positive relationships during the MBA journey. The energetic and inclusive atmosphere fostered a strong sense of belonging among the students. Overall, the session provided an excellent start to the MBA programme by encouraging meaningful connections and active participation.
