The Kristu Jayanti Institute of Management (KJIM), Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) inaugurated the VENTURA 2026 - An Annual Intra-School Business Plan Competition for MBA Students on 25th Aug 2026. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Devika Rani, Dean, KJIM, who encouraged the students to chase opportunities and really be the doers. She shared her insights of the Indian startup ecosystem and how it motivates people and Bengaluru being the 'Silicon Valley of India' is an agglomerate of various opportunities. She also highlighted the various support systems and facilities the University provides for the emerging entrepreneurs, including concept creation, forging of ideas, patent registration, implementation and sustaining. Dr. D. Ravindran, President of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), explained about the year-long implementation and progression plan. VENTURA 2026 is an excellent endeavour for MBA students to not only compete but also use innovations to solve real-life problems as well as create ideas and become entrepreneurs. It encourages the students to think critically, creatively, work as a team and to utilise their management knowledge in a practical way.
