Kristu Jayanti Institute of Management (KJIM), Kristu Jayanti University, Bengaluru, organised Talento 2026, its Intra-Institute Management Fest, on September 18th -19th, 2026, at the New Airport Road Campus. The two-day fest brought together 296 first-year MBA students for an intensive experiential learning experience focused on managerial and professional competencies. The fest was inaugurated by Ms. Puja Sharma, Co-Founder & CEO, Resource Excellence India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, with the presidential address by Fr. Dr. Marialal Joseph, Director, Centre for Research & Development. Ms. Puja Sharma encouraged students to embrace Skills, Mindset and Leadership and to participate, experiment, compete, collaborate and step beyond their comfort zones. Talento 2026 featured 11 management events comprising 45 competitive rounds covering major areas of management. These included leadership and entrepreneurship, marketing, people management, finance and fintech, business analytics and operations, business communication, and general management. The fest emphasised competency-based experiential learning, with the 45 rounds mapped to a comprehensive 40-skill framework, including 16 skills identified under the NHEQF. Students demonstrated competencies such as communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, teamwork, decision-making, creativity, adaptability and entrepreneurial orientation. The competitions were evaluated by 45 alumni judges, bringing industry and professional perspectives into the assessment process. Students competed for 20 prizes, along with the Overall Team Winner and Runner-up trophies. The fest was student-led, with first-year MBA students competing and second-year students coordinating and managing the events and rounds. The valedictory ceremony was graced by Ms. Sharon Hephzibah, Talent Acquisition Specialist, Nike India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, reinforcing KJIM’s commitment to learning by doing and developing industry-ready management graduates.
