Kristu Jayanti Institute of Management (KJIM) organized a two-day Management Development Programme (MDP) on "Harnessing AI and Fintech for Business Excellence" from August 21st and 22nd , 2026, at its Airport Road Campus, hosted in collaboration with NSE Academy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE). The event commenced with an inauguration led by Pro Vice Chancellor Fr. Dr. Lijo P Thomas CMI and chief guest Mr. Anup Thomas, Partner at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP. Over the two days, six interactive technical sessions featured industry leaders from Space Zee Technologies, VynelixAI, Simsy AI, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, FPL Technologies, and Verizon. The sessions comprehensively examined the evolving modern business landscape, focusing on financial innovations, digital payment systems, agentic AI, and autonomous bots. Industry experts also addressed critical imperatives surrounding cybersecurity, fraud analytics, and responsible AI implementation. Furthermore, the program highlighted strategic decision-making frameworks for gaining a competitive edge and outlined practical career pathways within the rapidly growing AI and FinTech sectors. Supported by faculty members and student coordinators, the MDP delivered actionable insights into leveraging cutting-edge financial technologies and artificial intelligence.
