Date: 11 August 2026
A session conducted by Kristu Jayanti Institute of Management on Communication & Public Speaking on 11th August 2026 was an experiential approach to develop students’ communication and leadership skills. From News to Influence enabled students to analyse business news and deliver two-minute executive briefs, followed by Business Voices: Stories that Lead, where teams presented the same issues from different stakeholder perspectives. Persuasive Discourse & Critical Debate challenged students to defend their views on contemporary business issues while responding to unexpected developments. The programme concluded with the Executive Townhall & Stakeholder Engagement Challenge, where students assumed diverse stakeholder roles, managed a live crisis, negotiated solutions, handled media questions, and jointly developed a resolution. The experience strengthened confidence, critical thinking, active listening, persuasion, negotiation, and empathy, transforming students from hesitant speakers into more confident and thoughtful communicators who recognised that their voice belongs in the room.
