Kristu Jayanti School of Management organizes a week long programme on “LIFE SKILLS FOR MILLENNIAL EXECUTIVES” for its first year MBA students as the first programme of their MBA programme. The training is organized for every new batch by the Centre for Life Skills Education (CLSE) of Kristu Jayanti College in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD). The faculties of School of Management, who are the certified trainers on Life Skills Education conduct sessions on ten core life skills. The objective of the workshop is to orient and train students with Life skills that will enrich and enable them to face the challenges in their personal and professional life and be prepared as a Millennial executive for the corporate world. The students are trained through fun and activity based learning methodologies on Self Awareness, Coping with Emotions, Empathy, Decision making, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Effective Communications, Interpersonal relationship and Coping with Stress.
Kristu Jayanti School of Management believes that the life skills are essential skills that the management students need to learn primarily. Hence, the school commences its academic year with the training on Life skills. Activity based teaching of the life skills results in greater student engagement and learning during the entire life skills training.
